Save yourself some money and make all the arrangements yourself.
Paris is a remarkably easy city to see and get around in. It has the best public transportation system in the world.
Maybe its just that I am prejudiced against canned tours but especially in Paris they make no sense.

You may come off cheaper finding a hotel and flight package and doing the touring yourself. At least that way you know you will be able to see what you want and take your time. Air France and virgin vacations have affordable packages and allow you to add on tours if you like. Also I find yahoo trip planner very useful. It lists things to do and see in Paris and allows you to create your own itinerary. Often times the listings will include times and metro and bus stops near the site. The paris Metro is pretty easy to navigate. Also certain museums may have free or discounted days which can save you money.
