not the st giles in bloomsbury
Would recommend the hotels in and around the hyde park area’s over 2* though the ones under 3* tend to be like guest houses.
There are a couple of good ones on park lane.
I have looked at reviews of a beautiful hotel in Clarkenwell, its called The Zetter ( prices start at about 175£, during week for a single, 150£ on weekends, double from 200£ on weekends + weekend deals, ) the whole hotel is small with each room having cool designs on walls, flat screen TV (not available in most 4 star hotels that charge double the price) free music tracks and movies on demand ,the also say the rooms have hot water bottles…
If that’s too pricey (or already booked ) there are plenty of other hotels or hostels (one around London Bridge called St Christopher’s Village Hostel was decent and cheap but contrary to hotels they tend to get more expensive and fill up totally on weekends) there is also the Imperial Hotel in Russel Square
which starts at 74£ and which I recommend mainly because of the fantastic location.( the facade looks kind of 60′s 70′s…but rooms seem to be fine)
I also recommend having a look at hotel reviews somewhere like
take care
At the Hyatt there for sure.
