I’ve tried a few different hotels, and they are all booked. What’s going on?? Even a hotel with 292 rooms is full.
Ya, I’ve sort of broadened my search. But all the more “family friendly” hotels are gone.
I don’t think anything big is happening that day but it could be people coming to LA for Spring Break. Why don’t you just search on Hotels.com? Looks like there are a lot available for that date.
EDIT- Yeah Paris Hilton is right, its probably the Pac 10 Tourney. Putting up 8 different basketball teams plus all of their fans will definitely sell out some of the hotels in LA. Since the tourney is in Downtown at the Staples Center, probably find a hotel thats far away from there and you should be able to find a room.
The LA Marathon is the week prior to your date..Im gonna say spring break..What part of town are you looking at?Try a different area..and try asking the hotel why they are all booked, ask them what is going on in town..
Wachoo talkin’ about, Willis? I found over 100 hotels available on Travelocity. Spring break is early this year. And LA is a very popular destination. Remember, TENS OF THOUSANDS (if not hundreds of thousands) come to LA for spring break.
What criteria are you using? There’s plenty out there, unless you want a specific hotel.

The only thing I can think of is a marathon.
