I will be flying into a city in the afternoon and flying out the next morning. Because of the brevity of my stay, I decided to forgo booking a hotel. Aside from staying with friends (I haven’t any in the area) and meeting someone for the night, what sorts of things could I do to pass the time?
By Good I mean – good location for site-seeing/amenities and something that has a good level of cleanliness. I’m not looking for a luxury hotel but something that’s comfortable. Our budget is about £700 for a week.
I was wondering if anyone knows of what agency regulates a hotel license typically in the city or state? Also what government agency regulates the hotel industry?

I’m looking into booking a room for my birthday and I really want a room with a hot tub/jacuzzi…not just a tub with jets, mind you, but one big enough for two people

I am planning to go to DC for a vaction with young children and want a safe area. The Americana hotel is within my budget not very expensive and close to DC area I’ve heard. I would like to know if this is a suburburban area and is it safe and not in a crime ridden area? Should I avoid this part of the city? Thank you for your help.
Or can you give me any suggestions on anywhere romantic to go this weekend in Atlantic City or New York?
Out of town Boston hotels a lot cheaper, best place within 15 mile range to stay, bearing in mind transport links into Boston, and things to do when your there.

I would like to have an affordable Hotel nearby city of Frankfurt as I would like to attend the Book Fair. No affordable hotel is remaining for the time being.
